Main Responsibilities: To review whether master’s and doctoral degree applicants have fulfilled their training programs; review master’s and doctoral degree applications and propose recommended lists for degree conferral; review and recommend supervisor lists, and review and approve supervisors’ eligibility to enroll students; review and approve training programs and graduate teaching plans; review the implementation of key graduate training components; oversee the selection of outstanding graduate theses, outstanding graduates, National Scholarships, BYD Scholarships, and other awards; and study and propose recommendations for handling disputes in degree conferral.

Main Responsibilities: To oversee undergraduate teaching and training and implement decisions related to undergraduate admissions and training; review and approve undergraduate talent cultivation plans, curriculum development, and related matters; oversee the selection of undergraduates for recommended exemption from the graduate entrance examination, awards, and honors; and, on behalf of the Academic Committee, conduct evaluation, feedback, and guidance on the School’s teaching quality, and handle complaints and appeals from faculty and students regarding teaching quality.
Research and Platform Committee

Main Responsibilities: To formulate research plans and manage the application, review, recommendation, and administration of research projects; and to formulate and oversee management plans and measures for the School’s shared research platforms, including shared research laboratories, the computing center, and outdoor equipment.
