Basic Introduction:
Dr. Wenhui Qiu, PhD from Shanghai University, joined Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in 2017. A recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, she currently serves as Associate Professor (Researcher and PhD Supervisor) at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, and Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Soil and Groundwater Pollution Control and Remediation.With over 80 SCI-indexed publications, including more than 60 as first/corresponding author, her work has garnered 5,363 citations (Google Scholar, as of August 2025) and an H-index of 41, alongside 6 ESI Highly Cited Papers. Over the past five years, she has led over 10 national and provincial research projects, including the NSFC Excellent Young Scholars Program, NSFC General Program, and NSFC Youth Program, with total funding exceeding 14 million RMB. Her accolades include:Outstanding Young Scientist Award from the Chinese Society of Toxicology, First Prize of Guangdong Environmental Protection Science & Technology Award (1st rank), Gold Medal of Guangdong Ecological and Environmental Youth Science & Technology Award (1st rank), Second Prize of National Environmental Protection Science & Technology Award (3rd rank).
