Basic Introduction:

Kong Lingchao is a Research Assistant Professor and Master’s Supervisor at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He has been recognized as a Shenzhen Overseas Talent (Category C). He has carried out theoretical research and application innovation focusing on water pollution control technologies and nitrogen-phosphorus element geochemistry processes. Dr. Kong has led five research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China funded project, the Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation funded project, the Key Technology R&D Program of Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Outstanding Scientific Innovation Talent Project, and a State Key Laboratory Open Project, etc. To date, he has published over 30 SCI papers with an H-index of 21, applied for 8 Chinese invention patents. Dr. Kong also serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for Sustainable Horizonsand a peer reviewer for prestigious journals such as Chemical Engineering Journal, Environmental Science and Ecotechnology, and Applied Clay Science.
